Howie DiSavino III Confident Ahead of Martinsville Speedway Return

MARTINSVILLE, Va: Preparing for his final NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the 2022 season with Alpha Prime Racing, Howie DiSavino III invades Martinsville (Va.) Speedway for Saturday afternoon’s Dead On Tools 250 looking for no tricks but plenty of treats.

The Chesterfield, Va. native returns to the famed Virginia short track determined to rebound from the spring race where an impressive outing was derailed by a mechanical failure. Since April, the 21-year-old has had the 0.526-mile short track circled on his calendar as an opportunity to save his best performance for last.

“I’m super excited to get back to Martinsville Speedway this weekend,” said DiSavino. “It will be the first track in an Xfinity car that I have prior laps at and I think that will make a huge difference throughout the weekend.

“The Alpha Prime Racing team brought me a really fast Chevrolet Camaro earlier this year, unfortunately, we just had a situation that was beyond our control. Together, we are looking forward at the opportunity to return to Martinsville and finish what we started.”

In the penultimate Xfinity Series race of the season, DiSavino and the Mooresville, N.C.- based team welcome back the Travis Mills Foundation which will adorn its logos on the No. 45 Chevrolet Camaro in the highly-anticipated 250-lap race.

The Travis Mills Foundation supports recalibrated veterans and their families through various programs that help these heroic men and women overcome physical and emotional obstacles, strengthen their families, and provide well-deserved rest and relaxation.

The Foundation was established by U.S. Army SSG (Ret.) Travis Mills.

“Travis and his Foundation are the definitions of what it means to be American,” added DiSavino. “The love, care and inspiration they provide for our wounded soldiers trying to adjust to life back home is a true example of dedication to a cause.

“Being able to showcase the Travis Mills Foundation again might be one of the most special things I’ve done as a race car driver.”

In addition to the Travis Mills Foundation, DiSavino and his Alpha Prime team will also welcome back  Richard Green Racing as a major associate partner for the 32nd race of the season.

A native of Enosburg Falls, Vermont, Green is a longtime supporter of the Northeast Racing scene and a friend of the DiSavino family. A former driver himself, Green has now hung up his helmet and focused on being a successful car owner at the famed Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont.

In addition to being a car owner, Green has been notorious for supporting other young drivers in their racing endeavors and will attend Saturday afternoon’s race along with family and friends to support the Chesterfield, Va. driver.

“Richard, Liz and their whole Thunder Road Speedbowl race team from Vermont were guests during the spring race,” explained DiSavino. “It felt like they were part of our family, so when the opportunity arose to continue the partnership for the fall race, we couldn’t wait to make it happen again!”

Since his last race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway earlier this month, DiSavino can be found daily nestled in Mooresville, N.C.- either working thoroughly through his fitness program, his race preparation guideline or on the telephone with current and potential partners trying to increase his presence in the Xfinity Series in 2023.

His discipline to be able to multitask has given him the continued optimistic vibe that his hard work and relentless efforts will be rewarded not only this weekend but in the future.

“This is what I want to do and I’m going to do everything I can to stay competing in NASCAR for years and years to come,” added DiSavino. “I am a very focused and detailed person and even though I multitask throughout the day, my race preparation has never been more prominent.

“I have been spending countless hours of iRacing either by myself or with others while remaining very focused on my physical regimen to make sure when I climb in the car for practice and qualifying on Friday afternoon, I step up to the plate and continue the strong efforts of the No. 45 car at Martinsville.

“This is my last race of the year and with a little luck and a lot of determination, a top-15 finish should be within our reach.”

Veteran Cup spotter Clayton Hughes will guide DiSavino from above this weekend as his spotter.

Howie DiSavino, III, Partners with Travis Mills Foundation for Talladega Xfinity Series Debut

TALLADEGA, Ala.: Returning to the NASCAR Xfinity Series scene for the first time since Kansas Speedway last month, Howie DiSavino III returns to Alpha Prime Racing for his third Xfinity start of the season in Saturday afternoon’s Sparks 300 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

For his debut at the breathtaking 2.66-mile superspeedway, the Chesterfield, Va. native has partnered with the Travis Mills Foundation which will adorn its logos on the No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro for the final superspeedway race of the 2022 season.

“I am incredibly humbled at the opportunity to represent the Travis Mills Foundation this weekend at Talladega,” said DiSavino.

“Growing up in a military family, I understand all the trials and tribulations that families face in the Armed Forces.

“The Travis Mills Foundation represents the pinnacle of helping those that have served our country so they can adjust to living with a positive mindset knowing they are surrounded by an enormous support system.”

With his penultimate Xfinity Series race of the season on deck Saturday afternoon, DiSavino knows he wants to make the best of the opportunity to showcase his ability, especially at a racetrack like Talladega, where often upset storylines are made and David can beat Goliath.

For the rising 21-year-old driver, he knows his Alpha Prime Racing team can deliver back-to-back top-five finishes on a superspeedway. Last month, DiSavino’s teammate Sage Karam delivered the Mooresville, N.C.-team a fifth-place effort in the Wawa 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

“I’m very focused on my Talladega Xfinity debut this weekend,” said DiSavino. “Since Kansas, I have put a lot of my time and effort into making sure that I am prepared as possible, so I can go out there and deliver an eye-catching finish with our No. 44 Travis Mills Foundation Chevrolet Camaro.”

While new to superspeedway racing at the NASCAR Xfinity Series level, DiSavino does have experience in the draft circling back to his impressive tenure in the ARCA Menards Series driving for AM Racing during the 2021 season-opener where he delivered a respectable 13th place finish in the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire.

“I am very thankful for that opportunity to race on a superspeedway in 2021 and I hope I can apply some of that experience to Talladega this weekend. I know the cars are a little different and the competition and experience level vary significantly, but I believe with my team and the confidence I have in myself, we can go out there on Saturday and impress some people.”

With no practice on deck and qualifying at risk of potentially being canceled because of the reminiscences of Hurricane Ivan, DiSavino knows wherever he starts this weekend, he’ll have a plan in place to get to the front.

“We’ll finalize our strategy as we get closer to the race and we know where we are starting, but I think we have a good plan,” he said. “If qualifying is canceled because of inclement weather, then we’ll take our starting position in stride and just make the best of it.

“This race is going to be a lot more mentally draining than physically, but I have surrounded myself with great coaching and a trainer who is preparing for everything that I know will come into play. No matter what situation we are in, the result remains the same; be in contention when it matters the most!”

During any given week, DiSavino can be found nestled in Mooresville, N.C.- either working thoroughly through his fitness program, his race preparation guideline or on the telephone with current and potential partners trying to increase his presence in the Xfinity Series during the remainder of the 2022 season and looking ahead to 2023.

His discipline to be able to multitask has given him the optimistic vibe that his hard work and relentless efforts will be rewarded not only this weekend but down the road.

“This is what I want to do and I’m going to do everything I can to stay here for years and years to come,” added DiSavino. “I am a very focused and detailed person and even though I’m multitasking a lot throughout the day, my race preparation has never been more prominent.

“This week, it’s hands on deck for Talladega. Next week, it’s focusing on Martinsville and the 2023 season!”

Veteran Cup spotter Clayton Hughes will guide DiSavino from above this weekend as his spotter.

Following Talladega, DiSavino will return to Alpha Prime Racing for the penultimate Xfinity Series race of the season at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on Oct. 29, 2022.

Howie DiSavino, III, Returns to Xfinity Series Competition as Focused as Ever

KANSAS CITY, Kan: It has been nearly two months since Howie DiSavino III has been behind the wheel of an Alpha Prime Racing car, but the wait is nearly over as he returns to the team for his third NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the season in Saturday afternoon’s Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.

DiSavino has been counting down the days to return to action since his most recent outing in July at New Hampshire Motor Speedway where he roared through the field during the Crayon 200 and earned an eye-catching and competitive top-20 finish.

Clinging to the momentum from his best Xfinity Series finish in just his second career start, DiSavino has been preparing for his Kansas debut with the intention of backing up his New Hampshire effort with another top-20 finish or better this weekend.

“I’m excited to get to Kansas,” said DiSavino. “Obviously, it’s very tough not being able to race as much as I would like, but every race behind the wheel is an opportunity and I’d like to accelerate on that opportunity with a strong finish on Saturday afternoon.

“Kansas is a new track to me. I’ve never been there, but I’ve been incredibly diligent in taking advantage of the tools that have been provided to me to make the transition as seamless as possible.”

His discipline to be able to multitask has given the Chesterfield, Va. native the optimistic vibe that his hard work and relentless efforts will be rewarded not only this weekend but down the road.

“Even though it’s been a couple of months since I’ve been in the car, it certainly doesn’t feel like it,” added DiSavino. “I am a very focused person and even though I’m multitasking a lot throughout the day, my race preparation has never been more prominent.

“When you have such a strong run like our Alpha Prime Racing team did at New Hampshire, it makes you hungry as a driver and a person to be able to repeat or better that effort again. I know my Alpha Prime Racing team is doing their job during the week on building fast and competitive cars.

“I am doing everything in power to make sure when I climb behind that wheel on Friday and Saturday, we are picking up right where we left off.”

ClearCryptos will serve as the primary marketing partner of DiSavino III’s No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro for his third career Xfinity Series start.

ClearCryptos’ goal is to create clarity, accountability, and success in the Crypto marketplace with their unique relationships in technology, government and law enforcement.

When it comes to the race on Saturday, DiSavino III is thoughtful about taking the same cautiously aggressive approach that paid dividends at New Hampshire even though Kansas is the complete opposite.

“I want to be around for the finish, I kept telling myself that at New Hampshire and it paid off,” sounded DiSavino. “I know I must take what your race car will give you and the Alpha Prime boys will adjust accordingly throughout the race that will put us in a good position for the final stretch.

“I want to do well not only for myself, but for the people that support me and my team, but I’m going to remember that I can’t push the envelope when it comes to the handling of the race car or battling my other competitors on the track.

“If our No. 44 ClearCryptos Chevrolet Camaro isn’t the best at the start of the race, I just have to be patient until we can make an adjustment. If I want to contend for a strong finish, I need to be around for the end of the race. If we can avoid any chaos and mind our matters,

“I think contending for a top-15 finish is achievable and would feel like a win and gives us great momentum for my next Xfinity race at Talladega in a couple of weeks.

Veteran Cup spotter Clayton Hughes will guide DiSavino from above this weekend as his spotter.

Following Kansas, the 21-year-old will return to Alpha Prime Racing at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on Oct. 1, 2022, and the penultimate Xfinity Series race of the season at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on Oct. 29, 2022.

Howie DiSavino, III, Returns to Xfinity Series Competition at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

LOUDON, N.H.: NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie Howie DiSavino III has been waiting more than three months to seek redemption as he returns to competition with Alpha Prime Racing for Saturday afternoon’s Crayon 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

In his Xfinity Series debut at the tough and demanding Martinsville (Va.) Speedway in April, DiSavino III impressed the competition with a stout qualifying performance but was hindered during the Call 811 Before You Dig 250 by a mechanical failure.

Knowing he had the potential to contend for a top-10 finish with his Mooresville, N.C.-based team, he returns to the track aboard his No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro determined to finish what he started more than 90 days ago.

“I have been patiently waiting for my turn to get back behind the wheel,” offered DiSavino III.

“When you don’t compete full-time and you are as hungry as I am to showcase my potential, those days that you wait sometimes feel like years.

“However, the time to get back on track with my Alpha Prime Racing team is almost here and we are ready to finish what we started at Martinsville.”

DiSavino III, 21, has never been to New Hampshire’s “Magic Mile” but he has spent the last couple of months doing what he can to make sure when he climbs aboard his race car for practice on Friday afternoon, he’ll quickly fall in line with the rest of the field.

“Nothing beats actual seat time but taking the time to really improve your craft on iRacing has been important for me and my career,” he said. “I have spent a lot of time on iRacing, spent time watching old races, talking to other drivers, and even looking at photos of the track.

“I don’t want to do anything that is going to put us behind this weekend, so it’s super important to use the short practice to our benefit. If we have a good baseline from practice that should propel us forward for qualifying and the rest of the weekend.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been more ready to get back to the track and prove myself not only to my team but the partners that keep me on the race track.”

ClearCryptos will serve as the primary marketing partner of DiSavino III’s No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro for his second career Xfinity Series start.

ClearCryptos’ goal is to create clarify, accountability, and success to the Crypto marketplace with their unique relationships in technology, government and law enforcement.

In addition to ClearCryptos, Bangor Truck Equipment, Bryson’s 4-Wheel Auto Repair, Coop’s LLC., and The Inside Groove will serve as associate marketing partners on DiSavino’s No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro.
When it comes to the race on Saturday, DiSavino III knows patience will be his best friend, but also knows he has to push it when it comes to getting the best finish possible.

“Of course, there is some pressure on the line for myself on Saturday,” sounded DiSavino III. I want to do well not only for myself, but for the people that support me and my team, but I’m going to remember that I can’t push the envelope too far at New Hampshire because the corners are so flat.
“If our No. 44 ClearCryptos Chevrolet Camaro isn’t the best at the start of the race, I just have to be patient until we can make an adjustment. If I want to contend for a strong finish, I need to be around for the end of the race. If we can avoid any chaos and run a clean race, I think contending for a top-15 finish is certainly achievable and would feel like a win.”

Veteran Cup spotter Clayton Hughes will guide DiSavino from above this weekend as his spotter.
Following New Hampshire, the Chesterfield, Va. native will return to Alpha Prime Racing at Kansas Speedway on Sat., Sept. 10, 2022, followed by Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on Oct. 1, 2022, and the penultimate Xfinity Series race of the season at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on Oct. 29, 2022.

Howie DiSavino, III, Focused on Xfinity Debut at Martinsville Speedway

MARTINSVILLE, Va.: After experiencing the hardship of failing to make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut last weekend at Richmond (Va.) Raceway, Howie DiSavino, III, has regrouped and is focused on starting this chapter of his racing career by taking the  green flag in Friday night’s Call 811 Before You Dig 250 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

While DiSavino admits that missing Richmond was a tough circumstance for himself, his partners and his Alpha Prime Racing team, the 20-year-old is determined to use the disappointment as motivation and deliver a successful debut at the historic Virginia short track.

“I am looking forward to Martinsville Speedway this weekend,” said DiSavino. “I cannot thank everyone at Alpha Prime Racing, my partners, my friends and family for the continued support. There will always be good and bad that a driver will experience in racing – but how you respond is always what everyone will remember.

“I am staying focused and determined and eager to showcase my ability at Martinsville Speedway on Friday night.”

DiSavino has minimal experience at Martinsville’s tight 0.526-mile paperclip oval, but he isn’t letting the inexperience hold him back.

“I am very fortunate enough to be surrounded by individuals who want me to excel at Martinsville on Friday night,” added DiSavino. “From my manager, Austin Theriault, to my driving coach, Joey Coulter, and even to my team owner Tommy Joe Martins, I am digesting all the advice that they are giving me and plan to use it to my advantage from practice to qualifying and then the race.”

For his Xfinity Series debut, DiSavino and his Alpha Prime team will welcome Richard Green Racing as a major associate partner for the eighth race of the 2022 season.

A native of Enosburg Falls, Vermont, Green is a longtime supporter of the Northeast Racing scene and friend of Theriault. A former driver himself, Green has now hung up his helmet and focused on being a successful car owner at the famed Thunder Road Speedway in Barre, Vt.

In addition to being a car owner, Green has been notorious for supporting other young drivers in their racing endeavors and will attend Friday night’s race to support the Chesterfield, Va. driver.

In addition to Richard Green Racing, KEES Vacations, Webb Development, MassMutual Greater Richmond, Q Barbeque Richmond, Azalea D Realty, 89 Paint, Campbell Lawn Care and Simms Sweets will serve as associate marketing partners on DiSavino’s No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro.

“The goal for Friday night is to deliver everyone a strong and positive finish,” sounded DiSavino. “This weekend is about making progress from the moment our No. 44 Alpha Prime | Richard Green Racing Chevrolet Camaro hits the track to the checkered flag.

“From there, we can re-evaluate and focus forward on being better for the next race.”  Veteran Cup spotter Clayton Hughes will guide DiSavino from above this weekend as his spotter.

Following Martinsville, DiSavino who will turn 21 on Sunday, April 10 will return to Alpha Prime Racing next month at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway for the Alsco Uniforms 300 on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Howie DiSavino, III, Running Partial Xfinity Series Schedule with Alpha Prime Racing

Alpha Prime Racing announced that Howie DiSavino, III, will join the organization’s NASCAR Xfinity Series driver lineup for select starts in 2022 as the team competes with two full-time entries.

DiSavino, 20, made his NASCAR debut in 2019 in the ARCA Menards Series earning an impressive top-10 finish in his first event. After competing in both the ARCA Series and running multiple Pro Late Model events during the 2020 season, DiSavino made his official NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in 2021 at Richmond Raceway.

The Chesterfield, VA native credits his passion to racing after winning a pair of free tickets to an Arena Racing show in the Richmond, VA area. Since then, the rush of racing had him hooked. Across his career, Howie has raced in multiple NASCAR series while securing top-10 and top-15 finishes along the way. Howie is a young talented driver who will be a positive addition to the Alpha Prime Racing team in 2022.

“I am very excited to race with Alpha Prime Racing. I think we will have a great season together! It has been a dream come true to race in the Xfinity Series,” said DiSavino. “Tommy Joe is giving me that shot to make my dream come true. I couldn’t thank everyone at Alpha Prime enough for this opportunity!”

Howie is locked-in to make his Alpha Prime Racing and Xfinity Series debut at Phoenix Raceway on Saturday, March 12th.

“A big part of the growth of Alpha Prime Racing will be how well we can develop young drivers,” said Tommy Joe Martins, Co-owner of Alpha Prime Racing. “I’m thankful that Howie, his family, his sponsors, and his mentor and manager Austin Theriault believe in what we’re doing here and are giving us that chance. We want to give him the opportunity to grow and be successful.”

DiSavino will be joined by Kaz Grala in his debut with Alpha Prime Racing at Phoenix Raceway in March.

Howie DiSavino, III, to race in late Mother’s memory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

LAS VEGAS, Nev.: NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) rookie Howie DiSavino III heads to Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway for Friday night’s Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 presented by Westgate Resorts competing with a heavy heart.

Following his most recent Truck Series start at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway last Thursday night, DiSavino’s mother Dawn lost her five-year battle with cancer on Saturday, September 18.

Determined to keep his emotions in-check, the Chesterfield, Va. native has decided to fulfill his obligations to Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) and his marketing partners and race, but he is also poised to honor his mother’s last words to her only son, “Pass them all” in his Las Vegas debut.

“The last few days have been the most difficult of my life,” said DiSavino. “My mom was one of my biggest fans and it is going to be incredibly hard to get into that truck on Friday night knowing that I won’t be able to send her a text message or follow-up with a phone call or even a hug, but I know she would want me to continue my dreams.

“I’m going to do my best to “pass them all” just like she told me too shortly before she died. The outpouring of support and condolences has been overwhelming, but I am incredibly grateful to each individual who has thought of me and my family during this difficult time.

“I know my Mom is watching me from heaven and I hope I continue to make her proud not only this weekend at Las Vegas but whatever my racing career brings in the future. I love you, Mom.”

DiSavino, 20, will make his fifth Truck Series start of the season on Friday night and hopes to rebound from a disappointing 28th place finish at Bristol.

“We were really fast, but Bristol was tough,” added DiSavino. “We got collected in a few incidents, but it was ultimately a mechanical issue that put us out of the race.

“The guys on the Jordan Anderson Racing team have been working hard on our Las Vegas truck over the last few weeks and I hope we’re able to go to Las Vegas and not only pass them all but recover for a career-best finish in the Truck Series.”

Longtime DiSavino partner Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning will serve as the primary marketing partner on the No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado, while KEES Vacations will hold an associate partnership role in the triple header weekend with the three national series of NASCAR all in competition in Sin City.

“I cannot thank my primary partners Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning and KEES Vacations enough for this opportunity and sticking with me through a most challenging week. There are no words to describe what their support means to me, especially when you go through something like this. I hope I make them and all of our partners proud on Friday night.”

In addition to KEES Vacations and Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Azalea D Realty, Bommarito Automotive Group, Lucas Oil, MassMutual Greater Richmond, and Q Barbeque Richmond will serve as associate marketing partners on DiSavino’s No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado.

Keeping his mother’s spirit close to him, DiSavino’s passenger door will adorn a special name rail decal.

In addition to Bristol, DiSavino made his NCWTS debut in April at Richmond (Va.) Raceway and competed at both Texas Motor Speedway and Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in June. He is also a six-time participant in the ARCA Menards Series where he earned two top-10 finishes for AM Racing.

Former winning NASCAR driver Reed Sorenson will continue to guide DiSavino from above this weekend as his spotter.

Howie DiSavino, III, returns to Truck Series competition at Bristol Motor Speedway

STATESVILLE, N.C.: After a brief break from competition, Howie DiSavino III will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) scene with Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) for his fourth career start in next Thursday night’s UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

DiSavino has impressed in his three prior Truck Series races this season, including scoring a career-best 22nd place finish in his most recent race at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in June.

For the second time this season, DiSavino will compete on a short track after making his NCWTS debut in April at his hometown track of Richmond (Va.) Raceway.

With confidence remaining on his side, the 20-year-old will soon head to “Thunder Valley” eager to deliver his first career top-20 result.

“I’m stoked to be back with Jordan Anderson Racing for Bristol,” said DiSavino. “Jordan (Anderson) and his team have been exceptional to work with and really have made me feel comfortable in making my transition from ARCA to NASCAR.

“We have made significant gains in every race that we’ve been together and I expect Bristol to be no different. Even though I have never raced at Bristol, I have taken the steps to readily prepare myself for what I expect to be a grueling and intense race. I plan to have a lot of fun though too.”

When it comes to conquering his goal of earning his first top-20 finish, DiSavino will rely on the advice and experience of the team he has assembled around him.

“I am lucky to have the ears of Jordan, my manager Austin (Theriault) and coach Joey (Coulter). They all have experience at Bristol and know what it takes to conquer that place. I’ve never been there so the green flag will be my first lap ever turned.

“I know it is not going to be easy, but they never said anything in racing was going to be, so I take this latest challenge in stride with the determination to stay focused, stay out of trouble and most important of all be respectful of those around me.

“I plan to take the races in stages. I want to stay on the lead lap, that’s the most important. Getting comfortable in Stage 1. Keep working on the balance of our truck throughout Stage 1 and Stage 2 and forging ahead in Stage 3 for the best finish possible. If things go well at Bristol, hopefully there is some more Truck Series racing in my future before the season ends.”

Longtime DiSavino partner Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning will serve as the primary marketing partner on the No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado, while KEES Vacations will hold an associate partnership role in the quadruple weekend with ARCA and the three national series of NASCAR all in competition at the World’s Fastest Half-Mile.

“I cannot thank my primary partners Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning and KEES Vacations enough for this opportunity.

“They have been superior partners not only this season but throughout my racing career and I want to deliver for them in a big way on Thursday night.”

In addition to KEES Vacations and Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Azalea D Realty, Bommarito Automotive Group, Lucas Oil, MassMutual Greater Richmond, and Q Barbeque Richmond will serve as associate marketing partners on DiSavino’s No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado.

Howie DiSavino, III, to make NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Richmond Raceway for Jordan Anderson Racing

MOORESVILLE, N.C.: Embarking on the next step of his career, Howie DiSavino, III, will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut for Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) at Richmond (Va.) Raceway for the ToyotaCare 250 on Sat., Apr. 17, 2021.

Richmond will be an important race for DiSavino, who turns 20 on Apr. 10 – as the sixth Truck Series race of the season is planted just 18 miles south of DiSavino’s hometown of Chesterfield, Va.

“I’m incredibly humbled about this opportunity to not only compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Jordan Anderson Racing but for the chance to race in front of my family, friends and partners,” said DiSavino.
“This is undoubtedly the biggest race of my career, but I am up for the challenge.”

DiSavino enters the Truck Series after competing in seven ARCA Menards Series races, including this year’s season-opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in February for AM Racing. In his superspeedway debut, DiSavino cleverly drafted from his 25th place starting position and raced inside the top-10 for most of the event.
A late-race flat tire sent DiSavino to the rear of the field where he was able to climb back to 13th at the checkered flag. Of his seven ARCA starts, he has maneuvered two top-10s and six top-16 finishes between 2019 and 2021, respectively.

Longtime DiSavino partners KEES Vacations and Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning will serve as the primary marketing partners on the No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado in the doubleheader weekend with the NASCAR Cup Series.

“The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is stacked this season, added DiSavino. “Richmond is going to be an extremely competitive race and tire management will be key. Fortunately, I have surrounded myself with good people who are adequately helping me prepare to make Richmond a successful weekend both on and off the track.

“If we can come out of the race with a strong top-20 finish that will certainly feel like a win.

“I just want to do a great job for Jordan (Anderson) and our partners KEES Vacations and Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning and with the hope to do some more Truck Series racing throughout the 2021 season.”

Anderson, who drove his family-owned team to a career-high second-place finish in the season-opener at Daytona is excited to welcome DiSavino to the team and is eager to help make his debut memorable.

“I have been keeping my eye on Howie for a little while now, and when Austin (Theriault, manager) said he was available and exploring NASCAR opportunities, I wanted to jump at having him make his NASCAR debut in one of our trucks,” said Anderson. “My team and I have built this team from the ground up, and Howie shares the drive and determination that I admire in a driver. I’m looking forward to seeing him be successful.”

Of course, DiSavino isn’t just getting support and confidence from his team. His marketing partners have been patiently waiting for the opportunity to be a part of a historic moment for the rising star.

For Jeremy Grogg, CEO of KEES Vacations, this partnership is the culmination of many years of hard work.

“I love NASCAR Truck Series racing. As a race fan, and a business owner, it is a dream come true to have such an important role in Howie’s NASCAR debut,” he said. “We are excited to be able to highlight and promote KEES Vacations to the hundreds of thousands of NASCAR fans, and look forward to helping many plan their next dream vacation!”

“For Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning, joining the HDIII Racing team through a sponsorship opportunity, has been everything we could hope for,” said Rob Nelson, President of Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning.

“The closeness and comradery with Howie, his dad and all the others involved just feels like we are a part of an organization that cares about its partners. They’re focused on creating and exploiting every possible opportunity for the betterment of the sponsors in concert with the true star of the show, Howie DiSavino III.

Additional details on DiSavino’s 2021 program are forthcoming.

Howie DiSavino III brings confidence into ARCA superspeedway debut

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla: When it comes to superspeedway racing, confidence is always a good thing.

For ARCA Menards Series driver Howie DiSavino III, confidence is on his side ahead of Saturday afternoon’s Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire 200 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

Undoubtedly, the 2021 ARCA season opener will be the biggest race of DiSavino’s career, but that does not seem to faze the AM Racing development driver one bit.

“It’s important for me to do well at Daytona this weekend,” said DiSavino. “I really want to give this AM Racing team some momentum.

“Kevin (Cywinski), Jamie (Jones) and everyone on this No. 32 Chevrolet are going to Daytona with the mindset of winning the race and I think we can do that – I just need to do my job and have a little luck along the way.

“I’m incredibly thankful for this opportunity to compete on this big stage,” added DiSavino. “It’s a very humbling moment for me and my family, but once I climb into the car on Saturday, I can’t treat it as the biggest race or biggest chance of my career – I just have to treat it as another race.”

That cool, calm demeanor could be the winning ticket for DiSavino aboard Kevin Cywinski’s No. 32 Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning | Front Runner Boats Chevrolet. Of course, AM Racing (formerly WinTron Racing) is no stranger to Daytona’s victory circle.

Cywinski alongside crew chief Jamie Jones has been fielding the No. 32 Chevrolet for several years around the 2.5-mile superspeedway and while also having fast race cars, when the payday window opened, they always found themselves collected in someone else’s mishap.

DiSavino isn’t thinking about the dreaded “Big One” this weekend, because chances are, there will be nothing he can do to prevent being collected. What he can do is act off instinct and the guidance of his spotter, Tyler Monn.

To help prepare DiSavino for his superspeedway debut, the Chesterfield, Va. native participated in the open ARCA Menards Series test at Daytona last month with Jones and Monn by his side.

“I learned a lot at the test,” added DiSavino. “It certainly can be intimidating, but I felt like we made the best of the test for sure. We made adjustments throughout the two days and my comfort level was really at its best on Saturday and I feel like I’ve done my part studying up on the prior races since the test that will all help with the cause and our goal.

As DiSavino prepares for his sixth career ARCA Menards Series race, he knows he doesn’t have to go far outside his circle for advice on how to conquer Daytona.

DiSavino’s manager is former ARCA Daytona winner and former series champion Austin Theriault who captured both crowns during the 2017 season. Theriault has not only been instrumental in mentoring his young driver in the car but out of the seat too.

Former ARCA winner Joey Coulter has also played an important part in coaching Howie, in preparation for the biggest race of his career.

“Having them (Austin and Joey) is going to help me with my learning curve as I continue to climb the ranks. I’m glad they are on my side,” sounded DiSavino.

“Hopefully, our race ends with a strong finish and something to be proud about looking ahead to the rest of 2021.”

Bud’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Front Runner Boats and KEES Vacation will support DiSavino in 2021.

Additional details on DiSavino’s 2021 program are forthcoming.

About Front Runner Boats:

Front Runner as defined by Meriam Webster is “a contestant who runs best in the lead.” Indeed, this defines the vision of Front Runner Boats’ founders, two fishing buddies and business partners who saw an opportunity to build the boats they enjoyed, but with their own ideas on how to build them better!

There are plenty of big, beautiful, boats on the market, but none that came up to the standards Mark and Phil had set for themselves. Standards that today’s boat builders have never seen. Standards that only people that take the sport of blue water fishing seriously will appreciate.

If you’ve always dreamed of having everything you wanted in a boat, it’s time for Front Runner Boats.
